'It's Time To Talk' Breakfast - 6 December 2019

In support of 16 Days of Activism, the Parramatta Cumberland Family and Domestic Violence Prevention Committee hosted its annual “It’s Time to Talk” Fundraising Breakfast on Friday 6th of December 2019 at Guildford Leagues Club.

The “It’s Time To Talk” campaign focused on the positive role that men and the wider community can play in preventing violence against women and children. The committee aimed to mobilise the power of the community and government agencies working in the Parramatta/Cumberland Local Government areas. It also aimed to reduce domestic and family violence, and improve the safety and status of those experiencing this violence in the Parramatta/Cumberland communities.

The breakfast was very successful, with many prominent men in our community taking the pledge to stand up against violence against women. We are so thankful to all attendees and hope to see you all again next year!
