2019 16 Days of Activism Launch @ Parramatta Police Station

“I will stand up, speak out and act to prevent men's violence against women”

On Friday, 27th November, the Parramatta Cumberland Family and Domestic Violence Committee (The Committee) officially launched their 16 Days of Activism against Domestic and Family Violence for 2019 at an awareness-raising breakfast at Parramatta Police Station. Attended by The Committee member organisations, services, police and engaged individuals, 16 men from the community including police made a formal pledge to combat and take a stand against domestic and family violence in their community.

The Committee would like to extend their thanks to the City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Bob Dwyer and Parramatta Police Area Commander Superintendent Julie Boon for joining us and for their continued support, and to everyone who attended the launch.
