Domestic Violence Forum - November 2015

On the 4th November 2015, The Parramatta Holroyd Family & Domestic Violence Prevention Committee held a Forum designed specifically for the local Religious and Community Leaders who represent our community. The committee has been established for over 20 years and is made up of local services (government and non- government services). One of the key objectives of the Committee is to build and maintain partnerships with organisations and promote prevention of violence through information sharing, resources, education and awareness raising activities such as this Forum. This Forum was the Launch and the commencement of “16 Days of Activism to Stop Violence against Women” and will conclude with our White Ribbon Day Breakfast on the 25th November. Thank you to everyone who attended the event and a big thank you to Holroyd Council for their ongoing support which allows us to deliver such events. Thank you to Bruce Chan who facilitated the Forum for your useful and informative program, we appreciate all your work.
