Meditation and Yoga
Cumberland Women’s Health Centre is pleased to announce that we will be providing regular meditation and yoga groups for the community. Meditation has been supported with evidence to improve and maintain healthy wellbeing and lifestyles and we hope all our women will find the benefit in such a group. The Meditation group is facilitated by Khadine Aharon from Embrace Empowerment.
Yoga, an ancient practice has become increasingly popular in today’s busy society. For many people, yoga provides a retreat from their chaotic and busy lives. Yoga develops inner awareness. It focuses your attention on your body’s abilities at the present moment. It helps develop breath and strength of mind and body.
Where: Harris Park Community Centre – 11 Albion St Harris Park
Time: 9.30am- 10.30am Meditation
10.45am- 11.45am Yoga
Cost: $3 a session or $5 for both Yoga and Meditation
When: Every Tuesday except the last Tuesday of the month
Dates for August- November 2018:
August – 7th, 14th and 21st
September – 4th, 11th and 18th
October – 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd
November – 6th, 13th, and 20th
